Peter Bolduan studied food technology with priority in biotechnology at college of higher education in Lemgo, Germany from 1986-1990. He worked as project manager in sector industrial waste water treatment for 3 years at the engineering company Haas Consult, Hannover. In 1993 he joined atech innovations gmbh, Germany as a sales engineer and from 1995 to the present he became managing director of the company.
Peter owns several patents for manufacturing and use of ceramic membranes and is author of various publications related to membranes.
For the past 30 years, has worked for Koch Membrane Systems in various roles in the Marketing and Sales of filtration systems world wide. Currently he is the Market Manager, Food and Life Science responsible for the sale of filtration products in the
Americas.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from
Tufts University and a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from
Boston College.
He enjoys traveling, especially cruising, reading and gardening.
Gerold Luss received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at the University of Minnesota in 1972. From 1979 - 1993 he worked for HB Fuller Company where his duties involved formulation of membrane cleaning chemicals, development of cleaning programs for membrane units and coordinating all membrane activities. In 1993 he founded CFR, a company which builds membrane systems, designs membrane processes and designs membrane systems. While coordinating all technical activities of the company, CFR has grown to one of the larger builders of process membrane systems in the United States.
Jamie is the senior applications engineer for GE Water & Process Technologies ED Center of Excellence. He has been with the organization since being hired by Ionics, Inc. in March 2004. Ionics was acquired by GE in February 2005. He has a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT. His mission is to develop new applications for electrodialysis technology, working closely with customers to meet their processes' demands.
Peter is a consulting engineer who specializes in the application of innovative treatment technologies utilized for water purification, wastewater treatment, and food/chemical processing. He provides technical and marketing consultancy services to companies wishing to market those technologies, as well as to those considering utilizing them to solve a specific production or pollution control problem.
Heinrich Iversen has recently joined Tetra Pak's North American processing group as Manager for Filtration technology. He has a Master of Science in Dairy Science and Technology from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University of Denmark and for the last 6 years he has been working with Tetra Pak's line of filtration equipment. Tetra Pak is the world's largest manufacture of food processing equipment. They offer a complete range of Filtration Solutions with a focus on adding value in dairy, cheese and whey applications.
John Peichel has nearly 19 years experience in the design, development, engineering, manufacturing, application and operation of both simple and complex water treatment and filtration systems for the pharmaceutical, beverage, power, and municipal industries. He possesses a vertical understanding of process and technology applied in the water treatment industry. As a Global Product Manager of Spiral-Wound Membrane Elements, he is responsible for all aspects of new product introduction, global pricing, distribution channels, and product line management associated with spiral-wound membrane elements.
Scott Wittwer is currently the Scepterâ Membrane Product Manager for Graver Technologies. Scott has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, and over 20 years of experience in the practical application of filtration products into a wide range of gas and liquid processes in the textile, food and beverage, chemical processing, and pharmaceutical industries.
Mike Grigus has worked with GEA Process Engineering Inc. for the past 18 years on providing clients process separation solutions using membrane technology. Mike has worked with liquid separation technologies for more than 25 years. Mike has a B.S. Ch.E from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Mike works and lives in Hudson, WI, is married and has two children. Mike’s hobbies include watching/coaching/driving for his kids activities (hockey, soccer, baseball, music, etc.) and assisting with his wife’s photography business.
Dr. Sefa Koseoglu is co-organizer of the International Conference and Exhibition on Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods series - WORLDNUTRA that attracts some 400 participants on a yearly basis. Dr. Koseoglu is also a founder and owner of the Filtration and Membrane World - dealing mainly with use of membrane based technologies in food, nutraceuticals, and pharmaceutical industries. Koseoglu's research contributions have been in several areas of separation sciences that deal with purification of bioactive compounds and use of membrane technology in food processing.
Felicity Plansky has many years experience in the membrane industry working in process engineering with new applications, membrane systems design, installation, membranes sales and has a vast experience with cleaning and sanitiation of membrane filtration system in the process industry with Ecolab as Techical Support Coordinator (Membrane Specialist).
